6:50 AM Logan went in to surgery, comforted by family and friends.
After a family prayer, Logan was wheeled off into surgery, still in good humor and keeping a smile.
The surgeon is noted to be one of the best there is. Apparently the tumor is wrapped around his optic nerve. They say that may make the surgery last a while, from 2 to 8 hours. The nurses are all very positive about the skill of the doctor and his staff. Hopes are high.

We're praying for you Logan!
Here's to a very successul operation and a quick recovery! You're definitely in our prayers!
Just thought you might get a kick out of knowing my oldest daughter Nissa (she just turned 2 in August) gave her first prayer last night and she included you in it.
(It was actually my wife giving the prayer and Nissa saying the very last word of each part. So your prayer was the word 'Friend.' It was very cute though.)
Good luck Logan and we can't wait to see you back in the office.
I'll start shopping for eye patches just in case. But until then, I'll keep you in my prayers. Good luck brutha.
You are amazing Logan!! We are praying for you constantly and that those caring for you will do their very best. We can't wait to hang with you some more and by the way the kitchen is always open so make sure to place your order often.
Sending you oddles of love & hugs!
Tamara, Shawn and Kids :)
We already miss your sense of humor here in the office - thankfully you still have it and are sharing it here! Here's wishing you a speedy recovery so you can get back to the things you love most.
(And a huge thank you to Lanny and others updating the blog so we can all keep up to date without undue burdens on anyone!)
Logan,
Good luck! We will keep you in our prayers.
You're in our hearts and prayers... Love you!
