My boss recently has been kind enough to pay for golf lessons for me and a few of my coworkers. I’m actually pretty excited about the prospect of not sucking so bad at golf.
Right now my handicap is around 100, which basically means I have no idea what a handicap is in golf and how it is determined. But I’m sure they originally came up with the name after watching someone like me. I was videotaped during my second lesson, and if I had to critique my swing, I would say that I looked like I was having a weird seizure while holding a shiny metal object. My instructor was a little kinder than that and tried to point out the few good things I did, bless his heart.
During the third lesson, my coworkers were competing to see who could hit the ball the farthest. Not to be outdone, I pulled out my driver and gave it a mighty swing. The next thing I remember, everyone at the driving range was instructed to stop while I ran out to the 100 foot mark to pick up my driver head. I was still proud of the fact that it went 100 feet, which is farther than any of the balls I hit.
At the rate I’m going, it should only take about ten years before I’m good enough to play in public with other people. I can’t wait.

It was great to see you! Thanks for coming to Utah so we could see ya. We'll have to go to Cali sometime--who knows when though? -Melissa
Even though you say you aren't very good atleast it sounds like you are having a good time! I'd like to see that video you speak of... You should post it. Does Jeremy have a video, too? If so he didn't tell me about it.
Also, I think it should be noted that we aren't on your "Other Blogs" list. Why would you say that is?
Were you using a callaway driver?? B/C that is not uncommon. It's happened to my brother who has a 2 or a 3 handicap. Also, one of my Dad's best days ever was when he broke 100. I will never forget how happy he was. You'll get there someday!

Logan.... I just found out that you have a blog... and I love it. I didn't know that you are taking golf lessons. I am trying to learn to golf too. Its tough. We should go to the driving range sometime... Sometime when no one else can watch us. :)
well I have never been through something like that. I gave always been able to touch or feel the objects before I had to deal with recovering from a Honan body meeting them head on. My first was being shot in the chest at age 4 (it was an accident in a controled invitonment. Then a few years later my face met real close and personal with the sidewalk (what just happens when a new bicycle falls apart in mid wheelie). Then the worst. Ford Explorer meets motorcycle in the middle of intersection (this happens when 16 year old girl pays attention to friends in car and not others on road) lost my ability to run and mother of my (3 month old boy at time of accident) I was on coma and had to learn to walk again. Having been through all that and 18 tubes and machines keeping me alive. I am to this day still wondering and dreaming of what my powers would be with all the radiation I received from just x-rays.
Well I'm glad to hear that all is well and I hope and pray that I do not have to fight cancer in this life cause I think I'm starting to run out of lives.
Take care and tell your brother hello from me
