The Home Stretch

This week I should be heading back to California. That means I've been in Utah for just over a month. Sitting around for this amount of time gives a person a lot of time to think. Unfortunately for me, I spent most of that time watching tv and updating this blog. During the few moments I did spend thinking about things, I made the decision that my life would be better spent at home doing nothing rather than working at a 9 to 5 job. It can be hard at times and definitely isn't for everyone, but I think I could do it.

Regarding my health, I'm doing better every day. I'm still not allowed to pick up anything heavier than a plate of food and I'm not allowed to exercise. It's pretty great since I have other people to do the heavy lifting for me, although watching my mom change a tire as I stood by was tough - mostly because while she was dilly dallying with the jack and the tire, my milkshake was still too thick to drink through the straw. I had to use a spoon! It was one of the toughest things I did all day.

Yay, Logan's coming home! Can't wait to see you and Scarie!! (Get it??!! It's like "scar" for you scar and "scary" cuz it's all nasty from being head stapled! Ha, a pun! Much harder than spooning milkshakes by the way...) I must say though, I don't know if you will even be allowed back if you have not finished HP 1-7, I am extremely disappointed in you. Certainly you won't be allowed back in the HP Book Club with all the cool people. We might have to start some new clubs for you like The Mullet Club or Big Scar on Head Club or Lazy Couch Potato Who Makes Mom Change Tires For You Club(although of course I won't be members of those...) Can't wait til you're here, buddy!

Logan,
There's that sense of humor! So glad that the doc didn't remove that along with that boney tumor you had going on in your head! I look forward to seeing you soon!
Lots of love,
Aunt Sandy

Well, I suppose that now that you have all of your friends back rallying around you, you don't need a silly ole aunt who lives 2 hours away... (wrong answer - Of COURSE you do!) It was great seeing you at David's wedding. I loved looking at the two of you talking facing each other with mirror image scars! It almost looked like a heart or at least parentheses! ( ) Something like that! (Dave on the left, Logan on the right!) Pretty cool! Micah sends his love - sad he missed visiting with you but he's been working overtime out of town - his main coworker broke his foot about a month ago and so he's had double duty.
Stay in touch, Logan - WE all love you!

Love,
Aunt Sandy

Everyone has missed the question that logan has successfully avoided with his amusing jokes at his mother's expense. So I'll ask it:

Logan, have the telepathic super powers the government implanted in your brain started to work yet?

Mine took 8 weeks before I could move anything using my brain. Now my kids shake in fear when I shoot them the "look". They know at any second, I can invade their brain and make them wish they were never born.

But don't do what I do Logan. Use your powers for good not evil. Then we can be best friends but arch nemesis. Like Toby Macquire and James Franco in Spiderman. But without the homoerotic overtones.

Umm, for those of us who DON'T live in California and who DIDN'T get to see you in Utah, would you mind updating the blog? I know, I know, it's a sick addiction I have, but I need a Logan update fix.

And a recent picture would be especially nice.

Hope your home hasn't burned down and you aren't suffering terribly from the smoke - I take it you're pretty close to the fires.

Take care, Logan, you are loved soooo much!

If is possible add the CresceNet(www.provedorcrescenet.com) in your blogroll, I thank. Good bye friend.
