Logan post surgery pic

Just trying to let him rest and keep him as comfortable as possible. He's feeling a lot of pain and headaches. Overall, things are going as planned, but they say this is the "hardest day" to get through.

Your pre-surgery blog entry blamed your incoherence on several possibilities (upcoming surgery, pain) but I think your last option - the hospital food, was the culprit!

Seriously, even though I miss your gorgeous curly locks, you are just as beatuful sans hair. Lucky Guy.

We are all praying for you, even my "heathen" Baptist sister Susie. She wanted you to know that.

Can't wait to see you again, Logan. You always bring a smile to everyone's face. Hope plenty of folks are making you laugh - but not hard enough to make your head hurt.

Love ya,

And they even threw in a free sun-tan on that freshly shaved head! :) What? Nothing.. It was so good to see you laughing and happy on Tuesday, I'm sure you'll be back at it very soon. I can't think of anyone less deserving of something like this, but you have shown tremendous courage and grace in truly perilous times. Seriously bud, you are the definition of "grace under fire." Add that one to your resume!

Regards,
Brendan

I am very enthused by your tremendous outcome and recovery. I almost had to force my way in at gunpoint to get those #@*#$ nurses to let me see you.

I must say the new you looks an awful lot like the old you. I guess perfection is hard to improve.

I have a very good feeling about all of this.

Just think of all the stories you can tell from this!

Love,

Uncle David

The government will obviously deny they had anything to do with your optical transplant, but with the new bionic eye, you'll be able to see dead and gay people. Kudos.

You're looking good Logan, especially considering what you've been through... I'm sad to hear you're in so much pain. Hopefully it won't be that way for too long.

Thanks to Logan's fam for keeping us updated. We're all eager to hear how he is doing.

Take care Logan - you're still in our prayers.
