Still Day 6 - Visit from Cheerful Patient with Matching Scar

Still not feeling his very best, but perked up a bit when a sweet lady (who had a similar surgery performed this week) came to visit to show how good she is now feeling. He is ready for the long road ahead and insists on taking his walks and moving forward, no matter how difficult it is. He loves your comments, jokes, and expressions of support and love. Thanks sooo much.

Good evening, Logan - It's 2:18 a.m. Tuesday morning here in southeast Georgia and I'm just now getting a chance to update myself about your life today. It has been so interesting, fun, funny, stirring, emotional, and faith-promoting to follow your progress and witness the love and support of the myriads of folks who love you. And how wonderful for you to meet another individual who has been where you now are - and so recently.

Each day you're growing stronger, and even though the challenges are awfullly difficult, your courage and tenacity have been impressive.

But I sincerely believe that (not withstanding your tremendous faith and the faith of those who love you) your unfailing good humor (albeit occasionally on the "sick" side) has done a great deal to help you heal. And it will continue to do so.

I hope you can go home tomorrow (okay, today). It's so much easier to get a good night's rest without all the nurses, lab techs, doctors, and other well-meaning but incessantly intrusive individuals in and out of your room. However I don't doubt for a minute that each of those individuals will miss you tremendously when you leave, especially the single ones (Judy, you've been getting phone numbers, right?).

Our prayers are with you continually and you are in our hearts and minds throughout each and every day.

Love ya Logan,
Karen & Michael, Heather & Matt, Afton & Clayton

Calm down,calm down...here´s the joke...:

STRONGEST MAN COMPETITION

The local pub was so sure that its landlord was the strongest man around that it offered a standing ?1,000 bet that no could beat him. The challenge was that the landlord would squeeze a lemon until all the juice ran out into a beer glass, then hand the lemon to the customer. Anyone who could squeeze even one more drop out of the lemon would win the money.
Over the years many people had tried this, truck drivers, weightlifters and all had failed. Then one day this frail little fella with heavy rimmed spectacles came into the bar and asked if he could try the challenge.
After the laughter had subsided the landlord said that it was only fair that the man be given a chance at the bet, so he picked up a lemon and started squeezing. Once he was done he handed the remains to the little man who promptly squeezed out 4 more drops of juice onto the bar.
Everyone looked on in amazement as the landlord handed over the prize and asked "What do you do for a living that has given you such strength? Are you a lumberjack, weightlifter, what?"
"No" the man replied, "I work for the IRS."

And to finish it off...here´s something that im related to....since im a security guard....this situation tends to happen me a lot....har,har,har mateeee....

1 "They told me at the blood bank this might happen."
2 "I wasn't sleeping, I was trying to pick up contact lens without hands."
3 "I wasn't sleeping! I was meditating on the mission statement and envisioning a new paradigm!"
4 "Amen"
5 "This is just a 15 minute power-nap like they raved about in the last time management course you sent me to."
6 "Whew! Guess I left the top off the liquid paper"
7 "I was doing a highly specific Yoga exercise to relieve work related stress."
8 "This is one of the seven habits of highly effective people!"
9 "Boy, that cold medicine I took last night just won't wear off!"
